Dug out my Famicom cart to record a sample run of this as long as I had momentum. The run is about a minute faster than my current EN PB. I had a few errors in this run, with forgetting the Q Key on the way into the mist area, and miscounting for a wing boots spawn on the way into the Black Onyx tower, so a directly comparable run with only text speed differences would probably be more like a 1:30 or 2:00 difference.

Played on an AV Famicom and recorded with a RetroTink 5X-Pro. Final time determined by counting frames in Avidemux.
