Normal Mode was played very conservatively because my goal was not getting a good Any% time, but instead making sure I got to Hard Mode in one piece. Though optional for Normal mode, 3 slot frames allow safety at Normal Falz and are still useful for most of the rest of the speedrun. The 4 slot frame drops eventually and much later, a 4 slot frame with ELT which is required to survive Gran Sorcerers without grinding even more levels.

5 hours of level grinding is required for FOnewm to survive Hard Falz, but this lets him get some techs and cash so it's not too bad. For later difficulties, the Nar Lily's God/HP drop is abused to the max. God/HP luck wasn't great overall, but there is a neat little surprise for the second one.

I ended up grinding a bit more than I needed to at the end due to getting very high EXP ruins maps and also an extra HP material or so which put me across the HP threshold needed to skip another level up.

I somewhat regret not taking a longer break to sleep, but underestimated how much was left, what time it already was, and was too amped up. With a cleaner run it might be an easier thing to skip, but I wouldn't encourage first time runners to do it that way--no one should be speedrunning to the detriment of their health or well-being.
