For ALTF4, speedruns recorded on older versions of the game using this technique will be counted as valid. This means that you can play by removing the patch of certain bugs for example.

Do not hesitate to give us your feedback on the subject.

Why this choice ? To include all of the quick ways to complete maps, therefore including the bed technique on the 5th card: https://www.speedrun.com/altf4/run/zxo188gz As they break all the speedruns we wanted to set them apart.

There has been an update to the game for this end of the year. Containing the new 06_WTF_Hell map, this is why we have added this map in the different levels that you can speedrun.

Since it turned out that the chicken glitch, which is mostly based on luck, was about to smash all the leaders, we decided to create separate categories on each level for those who use it in their runs. We hope you'll enjoy it.

The any% ItemMode No Item is the story mode that you perform the way you want but without using an item.

We have created the different categories for the speedrun, you can now suggest them for verification. There are seven new categories to match what's new in the game.

For the ANY% ItemMode category (which corresponds to the story mode), we have not yet defined the precise ending, but you can suggest your runs and it will help us to define the precise ending for this category.

We also noticed a new banner for the game on Steam as well as new images on its shop page. The game looks pretty cool in its new images.

Regarding the speedrun, there will be a story mode as well as other things, so we will be offering new categories for the speedruns. We are waiting to see the game when it is released and will discuss among us to see the possible new categories. For the ANY% category where there are already recorded speedruns we are waiting to see to decide as well. Stay tuned.
